We are seeking a Technology Business Management Analyst to work within our Information Technology department. The Business Management Analyst will be responsible for helping the Technology organization evolve into an industry leading function that supports the long-term growth of Global Atlantic. This position will partner with the Technology leadership team on several key initiatives to reshape the organizations strategy around how the function will be managed and measured. The Technology Business Management Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders from Technology, Finance, Risk & Control functions, and report into Chief Technology Office (CTO).

JOB DETAILS

  • Support key process and governance reporting, documentation, and workflows on strategic business/project management initiatives
  • Partner with Finance to analyze expenses around the application and platform infrastructure including headcount and consulting agreements.  Present areas of opportunity to improve the target operating model.
  • Manage and monitor resources against the overall model including headcount tracking and forecasting of all full time, contractors, and vendor consultants to enable accurate capacity planning for target operating model. Identify trends and elevate concerns
  • Assist in developing a foundational IT service catalog that will be the source of cost allocation methodology and empower better business decisions
  • Partner with Finance to understand Technology Financials to find opportunities for efficiency and cost savings
  • Provide updates to regular IT communications
  • Support Business Management team in developing and monitoring risk findings in partnership with CISO team
  • Complete regular senior management status updates and ad hoc reports
  • Support business partners on capital approval requests for new projects and ROI analysis
  • Support ad-hoc requests from business partners and collaborate with various cross functional teams, including vendor management, to provide appropriate information and analysis

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Prior experience in Technology, Technology Business Management or Project Management strongly desired
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff and management
  • Experience of software development lifecycle stages a plus
  • Detail oriented and accuracy-focused
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • 0 to 2 years of experience
  • Strong learning mindset
